The fishing day begins at 7:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm. Your fishing guide will pick you up by boat from the port of Sotupa Eco Lodge, and will provide assistance and handling of the equipment throughout the tour.

Depending on the target species, the water level and the season of the year, fishing will be carried out in the lower Madre de Dios River (winter), or in the Tambopata River (summer).

Among the target species are the leather fish or cat fish, piro, maiden, yellow zúngaro, ashara, canero, catfish, mota, and scale fish such as sábalo, paco palometa, mullet and sapamama. Subject to availability. The tour must be booked and paid in advance. The agreed dates are immutable.
