Being immersed in the heart of the jungle and with a panoramic view of the river, the landscapes, sunrises and sunsets here are magical and unforgettable, made up of clear skies and beautiful wildlife. Since we take care of the nature that surrounds us, the animals are not afraid to visit us, so it is possible to see different typical species of local fauna such as capybaras, macaws, sloths, anujes, night monkeys, titi monkeys, all kinds of insects. , among others.

We offer a series of activities that bring us closer to nature, for all ages and tastes. If you are looking for a moment of tranquility you can rest in the comfortable rooms with an unforgettable view of the river, or in the relaxation areas with hammocks, pool and bar, as well as take boat rides and enjoy the beaches and sunsets on the Tambopata River.

And if you want to explore your adventurous spirit, you can opt for kayak, ATV or bicycle rides, hikes with animal sightings, bird watching in the natural clay lick, or a tour of the wonderful Sandoval Lake.

Provide a completely friendly service in a family atmosphere. For this, Sotupa Eco Lodge has a main cabin and 6 bungalows with comfortable rooms overlooking the river and full bathrooms, first aid, a large dining room and relaxation areas with benches, hammocks, a pool and a bar. We also offer multiple activities in Puerto Maldonado, such as hiking with sightings of numerous animals of the area, bird watching in our own natural clay lick, kayak, bicycle and ATV rides , reforestation, horticulture, fruit and vegetable picking from our own orchard, among others. Wealso provide land and water transportation services, and solar electric energy.

We are a sustainable and eco-friendly lodge located on the banks of the Tambopata River, 30 minutes from the city of Puerto Maldonado. We have a two-story family cabin and six spacious bungalow suites, all with private terraces with a privileged view of the river.
Buffet breakfasts are offered every morning in our dining room, as well as delicious lunches and dinners prepared with local ingredients, inspired by the famous typical dishes of Peruvian gastronomy.

Fantastic days in the Amazon. The lodge is lovingly designed, very well maintained and perfectly located. Watching the sunrise from bed is a dream. The staff was very attentive and friendly. For my birthday there was a homemade cake. We liked it so much that we stayed 2 more nights.

I liked that the hostel was so close to the city yet felt so secluded. The cabin we stayed in had a beautiful view of the river. It is very spacious, comfortable and well protected from insects. I appreciated that they had vegetarian options at meals.

Incredible Amazonian retreat Incredibly charming and peaceful, beautifully immersed in the Amazon rainforest facing the Tambopata River. The rooms are huge and perfect, with an incredible view of the river. All meals are made with love and are really delicious. The excursions are wonderful. Our visit to the Amazon could not have been better than here! Heartily recommended.

An impression of the end of the world in the middle of nature. Simply perfect. The feeling of being at the end of the world only 20 minutes from the airport. 6 wooden bungalows with direct view to the river. A small refreshing pool, and above all a great guide who is passionate about wildlife and who will share his knowledge during the included activities. Really great!

My stay here was amazing! The location is fantastic, you are only a 20-30 minute drive from the airport but you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. I loved it here! Ciro was an exceptional guide and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and the food was amazing. The pool was clean and refreshing on hot days. I really have no complaints and highly recommend it!

The accommodations were fantastic, the meals were excellent and the activities included were all so great. We added the Sandoval Lake tour to our stay. We loved exploring this wild lake inside the Tambopata Reserve, I highly recommend it.

I have been amazed with the attention and service I received from the first day. The ATV tour has been one of the best I have ever experienced, because the adrenaline I experienced from start to finish was incredible.
